Note	Evelina was born on 28 February 1852 at Commercial Road, Penryn. Her father Richard is shown as being a Waggoner. The birth was registered by her mother Mary Jane. The reference is March Quarter 1852 Falmouth 5c (225 or 223?) entry number 203. There is some doubt about which number is right because the writing is very indistinct on this page of the register, the GRO managed to find it however, well done them. Evelina SECCOMBE died on 10 December 1856 at College, Budock, aged 5 years, from Consumption about one year. Her father Richard is still a Waggoner. Interestingly the death was registered by John JENNINGS, present at the death at College, Budock. He made his mark as a signature. The reference is December Quarter 1856 Falmouth 5c 135 entry number 325. Apparently Evelina was being nursed by her grandparents in their home during her illness. Perhaps this was to protect the other children from becoming infected.
